Vintage H.B. Griggs Halloween postcard, featuring a frightened child in bed surrounded by grinning jack-o’-lanterns beneath the verse:
“If Hallow-E’en just weren’t at night,

The artwork is signed H.B.G. and captures a wonderfully humorous early Halloween scene with expressive pumpkins and a startled child.
Reverse is marked L. & E. Series 2272 and has an unused divided back with no writing, address, stamp, or postmark.
