Real photo postcard of streetcar No. 102, lettered "Green Bay Traction Company" along the letterboard and "102 G.B.T. Co." on the dash, with an "E. De Pere" destination sign on the roof. Two uniformed crewmen in caps and brass-buttoned overcoats stand beside the car, with its slatted pilot, trucks and motors visible below and the trolley pole raised to the wire. Bare winter trees and a line pole stand behind. The Green Bay Traction Company ran Green Bay's streetcars from 1905 to 1911, when the system passed to the Wisconsin Public Service Company; streetcars ran in Green Bay until 1937. Postmarked Green Bay, Wis., January 1909, with a flag machine cancel and a green 1-cent Franklin stamp, and received at Burlington, Ill. The pencil message is addressed to Miss Flora at Burlington, Kane Co., Ill.
