The greaves begin just under the knee with two small lames, articulated at the back with leather to allow for extra movement. Everything about these greaves is incredibly well fitted and anatomically shaped to hug your legs completely. The main part consists of two shaped plates connected with a hinge, and fasten closed with the help of subtle and easy to use push pins. At the bottom of the greaves, they are shaped around the front and back of your foot to allow you to wear sabatons and dip down over your ankles to protect the sides of your feet. The bottom edge is finished with a beautiful roped edge.
