To perform a Good Fortune ritual, begin with a spiritual bath. Enter the tub or shower and immerse yourself in some warm water. Then start working the soap up your body towards your head. While doing this concentrate on what you would like to see come to fruition and say an intention or prayer. Gently wash the soap off your body. Once completed, prepare you candle ritual by writing out your petition on a piece of paper. Parchment paper or a piece of brown paper bag work best. Once written, fold the paper in half making sure you fold the paper towards you. Turn the paper 90 degrees and fold it one more time. Get a plate and place the candle on it. Next place the plate directly over your petition. When ready, light the candle, visualize and focus on your intentions. You may also recite a prayer, intention or read Psalm 23.
