This is an unusually desirable Golden Nugget Las Vegas key fob, probably dating from the early-to-mid 1980s.
“The Roger Thomas Apartment” most likely referred to a private apartment or working suite provided to celebrated interior designer Roger Thomas while he redesigned the Golden Nugget for Steve Wynn. Wynn hired Thomas in 1980 to design the hotel’s guest rooms, Spa Suite Tower and Carson Tower.
Thomas later became the principal designer behind the Mirage, Bellagio, Wynn and Encore—making the named provenance particularly collectible.
