Details:Complete vintage Goebel nativity set from the HX281 series, produced in the late 1950s to early 1960s. Set includes eleven ceramic figures, the stable, and the original metal Star of Bethlehem. Figures include Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, the Three Wise Men, Angel, Shepherd Boy, Cow, Lamb, and Donkey. Hand‑painted with detailed features and matching finishes across the set. Sculptor initials “MJ” (Marianne Jäger) appear on the pieces, consistent with early Goebel production.
Condition Notes:No chips or cracks observed. Light crazing is present on the underside of some pieces when viewed closely. Painted surfaces and details are clean and well preserved.
