Goddess Of Compassion Kwan Yin Statue Vintage Style Handcrafted In Indonesia 17" HighThis is an imposing depiction of Kwan Yin, the Goddess of Compassion completely handcrafted in Bali by Nyoman a master carver and artist from Ubud/In this representation, Kwan Yin iswearing an elaborate headdress with her mouth forming a pout, the eyes forming narrow slit and wearing a multi-tiered chain necklace. Kwan Yin is represented seated upon a wave base with her left hand resting on the ground, the right arm supported on her raised knee and a graceful mudra in her right hand.
Crafted with a casting method in resin, concrete and lava Volcanic sand for texture. Nyoman, the artist draws his inspiration from Bali's rich Hindu/Buddha culture. He hand carves each mold with intricate details and uses a coloration method he has developed himself to give the look of aged bronze.
