This Gerber Sportsman II folding knife features 3-5/8", made of Vascowear special high speed tool steel, hardened to 59-61C. This steel is famed for holding an edge longer than any steel we know! The blade edge is plain, and the knife has a lockback lock type for secure use.The handle is made of brass frame with black Micarta inlays, giving the knife a sturdy and comfortable grip. The knife is 8" long and has a leather scabbard sheath for easy storage and transportation. This knife was manufactured in the United States in 1982 and is an original Gerber product.
