The Hopi, also known as the Hopi Tribe, are a Native American people who primarily live in northeastern Arizona, in the southwestern United States. They are one of the indigenous tribes of the Four Corners region, which is the intersection of Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado. The name "Hopi" is derived from their own word, "Hopituh Shi-nu-mu," which means "The Peaceful People" or "Peaceful Little Ones." The Hopi have a rich cultural and spiritual heritage, and they are known for their deeply rooted traditions and ceremonies.
