A large Bulldog Brand three blade “Anglo Saxon Knife” whittler. Unsure if the scales are stag or bone stag.
Measures approximately 5 ¼ inches long overall, closed. Master spear blade measures approximately 3 3/8 inches long, edge only. Obverse blade etched “Celebrated Anglo Saxon Knife”. Obverse tang stamped with two bulldog heads over “Hand Made”. Reverse tang stamped “Bulldog Brand Hammer Forged Solingen Germany”. Double serrated nail nicks, one normal, the other long pull. Sheep foot blade measures approximately 1 ¾ inches long, edge only. Long pull serrate nail nick. Obverse tang stamped with double Bulldog Head mark over “Hand Made”. Pen blade measures approximately 1 ¾ inches long, edge only. Identical tang stamp as the sheep foot. Stag or Bone stag scales secured by four pins, obverse with traditional unengraved shield. Nickel silver bolsters to each end. Double springs, brass liners, no spacer. Provided in a microfiber drawstring pouch.
Good snap to all three blades. Half stops to the two smaller blades. Some very light surface scratches to the blades and springs. Light wipe marks and a few surface scratches to the bolsters.
