The Green Hunter brings a sporty look to the G. Sakai hunting lineup. The thick and stout blade is durable for chopping while also having an ideal design for a hunting knife. The double finger grooves and gimping allow for an excellent grip. The lanyard hole on the extended tang at rear of the handle is convenient for paracord. The blade is made out of VG-10 San mai which is superior in tensile strength as well as in corrosion resistance. Comes with a sturdy leather sheath. G. Sakai has produced quality knives for many top brands over the decades, including Al Mar, SOG, and Spyderco. For several years it made knives for Gerber, even changing its name to \"Gerber Sakai\" which was subsequently shortened to G. Sakai.
