RARE!!! Marvelous advertising, display, point-of-purchase store model of afemale bust made of wax (ceroplaste). During this period, the surrealist painter, artist Clovis Trouille, worked for the Pierre Imans mannequin company creating exceptional faces with immediately recognizable, stylized features and make-up. Trouille is best known for his art work "Oh! Calcutta, Oh! Calcutta" (a pun on the French pronunciation "quel cul t'as" ("what arearyou've got"),which was eventually used as the advertising art for the Broadway play of the same name. Scans say it best!
3.5 x 5.5" real photo postcard (rppc) in very good condition: very clean; plain back with Imans' company rubber stamp on back, including their Paris address. Scans are true ~ wysiwyg!
