Five Vtg 60s West Germany Glass Christmas Ornaments S.S. Kresge Box Mica Detail
Pre-owned ornaments are vintage West German blown-glass Christmas ball ornaments manufactured for the S. S. Kresge Company of Detroit, Michigan. They have internally silvered metallic finishes in blue/aqua, gold, and red with white stenciled designs and applied silver mica glitter. Each measures approximately 2½ inches in diameter. Caps are marked “West Germany D.B.G.M.” As can be seen in the photos, this is not a complete set. There is one ornament missing. While there are no cracks or breaks, there is age-related paint, stencil, glitter, and finish wear. The original molded insert and Kresge box are included. The box has considerable wear and the clear window is cracked and taped. The ornaments will be individually wrapped for shipment.
