Vintage Fenton white opalescent crimped bowl, produced circa 1936–1940 during Fenton’s pre‑war opalescent period. Measures 5 5/8" at the widest point. Shows early opalescent characteristics including a subtle warm tone where the opal layer is thickest and a ghosted opalescent center, both associated with early bone‑ash opalescent formulas and hand‑finished pre‑logo molds.
The base retains three linear cooling‑stand indents and wood‑pucker marks, features found only on early small‑batch production. This smaller crimped form with early opalescent behavior is moderately scarce, with no current active examples in the market.
