A very rare piece of Fenton art glass! This is the Persian Medallion in Marigold, 6 1/2″ Diameter.
This plate is an early, fancy and intricate Fenton design with beautiful, rich marigold color. Most likely made around 1911.
Its diameter is 6 1/2". Excellent Condition. Quite a show-off!
The Fenton company opened in 1905, when they launched their own glassware factory with iridescent ware. The Williamstown, West Virginia, company employed more than 100 workers for years until closing in 2011.
