This is a low grade item. It will be complete and readable, but will show significant wear. Allowed defects for this grade include: spine roll, a moderate amount of staining or water damage, writing or other marks on the cover, up to one inch spine splits or other tears, a cover or centerfold that is detached at one staple, discoloration due to oxidation, and a minor piece or pieces missing. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor/moderate defects or one or two major defects.

First issue marked \"Collector\'s Edition\" on cover. Features in this issue include: \"Dear Monster\" (which includes a letter by future genre expert Bill Warren); a preview and plot synopsis of Dr. Cyclops; \"Mad Labs\" (pictures of mad doctors in their labs); and more. There\'s a photo inside of Editor Forrest J Ackerman with Nancy Reagan (who starred in Dr. Cyclops). Painted cover by Albert Nuetzell is of television horror host Zacherley. Between 100-200 copies of Famous Monsters of Filmland #7 had a \"Lucky 7\" Stamp near the spine in the margin. This page could be torn out and sent in to Warren Publishing to receive free copies of the magazine for life. 68 pages, B&W.
