The French Carriage Clock by Hour Lavigne is a vintage piece with a striking hour repeat and alarm function. Manufactured in France in 1985, this rectangular clock features a brass frame with a gold finish and Roman numerals on the display. With a mechanical movement, this antique-style clock also includes a pendulum, 8-day movement, keys, winders, and a half-hour strike chime sequence. Signed by Hour Lavigne, this collectible clock is a unique addition to any room, weighing 1.63kg and measuring 17.5cm in height, 8cm in length, and 9cm in width.
Overall very good cosmetic condition. Clock winds, runs and keeps time. The alarm dial at the bottom rotates. The alarm works but as you an see in the pictures the stem for the alarm has snapped off. Included in the clock. The alarm can be wound by hand by rotating the sprocket counterclockwise and the alarm actually works. That is really the only issue/blemish. Original key is included as well. No box or papers. Please look at the photos to make your own assessment of condition.
