I am offering for sale this FINE STANLEY BED ROCK NO. 605 JACK PLANE Type 3, Ca 1899 nv#HC109

This is one of the MOST DESIRABLE Stanley NO. 605 BED ROCK JACK PLANES Type 3, Ca 1899 in good pre-owned condition. It has one patent date Apr 02.95 behind frog. The cutter has a \"Stanley\" Sweetheart notched logo. The plane\'s original black japanning is in 100% fine condition. The knob is in perfect condition, no cracks, splits or repairs. The tote has a piece broken off tip (see close-up). The name Stanley is horizontal on lateral adjustment lever. The plane measures 14\" L x 2-3/8\" W. The cheeks & sole have typical scars, pitting & scuffs, but have cleaned up nicely. The cutter has some discoloration and a small nick out of blade edge. It will clean & sharpen up nicely. I always suggest sharpening to get it back to an optimal cutting edge. It measures: 6-3/4\" x 2\" W. It weighs 4 LBS
