C0095SThe MK2.1 utilizes a substantial approximately 7-inch Böhler N690 steel blade, approximately 1/4 inch thick, with an overall length of approximately 11.9 inches. Published specifications place blade hardness at approximately 58 HRC. The black version uses Extrema Ratio’s military-style burnished finish. The handle departs dramatically from the leather-washer construction associated with earlier military fighting knives. Extrema Ratio instead employs a modern synthetic grip designed for durability, secure handling and field maintenance.Equally noteworthy is the original tactical sheath assembly included with this example. The system incorporates positive retention and multiple carry provisions rather than relying upon the simple traditional leather sheath.
