Excellent Quality Pure Agate Limb Cast 5lbs. 2oz. Central WA Vintage For Sale

This excellent quality limb cast is composed entirely of agatized wood, with a few splotches of common opal mixed in. The cast is translucent under light and features agate hues ranging from root beer to caramel to dark caramel. Creme to white common opal covers small portions of the specimen, but a flashlight shows the areas with opal coating indicated that the gemstone underneath was translucent, making it likely that the composition inside of the specimen is overwhelmingly agate. Collected in Central WA Pre-1950\'s.
