Vintage 1940 - 1950s hand-hammered brass pitcher/ewer by Italian metal artist Egidio Casagrande, Borgo Valsugana, Italy.
Stamped on the underside with the Casagrande maker's mark and design/model No. 19.
Distinctive sculptural form with broad rounded body, dramatic flared spout and hammered curved handle. Beautiful aged brass patina throughout.
Measures approximately 8" tall and 9.5" wide from spout to handle. Weight approximately 1 lb 6.3 oz.
Vintage preowned condition with natural patina, tarnish, scratches and surface wear consistent with age. There appears to be a small split/old repair near the neck/opening; please see close-up photos. Sold as photographed.
