Offered here is a collection of five (5) Edward’s Algerian Briar estate tobacco pipes, being sold together as one lot. This is a great opportunity for the Edward’s pipe collector, vintage pipe enthusiast, estate pipe reseller, or smoker looking to build an excellent rotation of classic American-made briar pipes.
Edward’s pipes have a loyal following among estate-pipe collectors, particularly their Algerian Briar examples. Edward’s Pipe & Tobacco has a long history dating back to 1960, and the Edward’s brand became known for offering quality briar pipes in both traditional shapes and more distinctive freehand styles. Vintage Edward’s pipes are especially appreciated for their use of Algerian briar, with historical examples noted for being oil-cured and lightly finished to allow the natural qualities of the briar to remain prominent.

CONDITION
All five (5) pipes are being sold in estate used condition.
The bowls are generally clean and clear of cake. The pipes have been handled as estate pipes and may benefit from additional cleaning, polishing, or restoration according to the new owner’s preferences.
Some of the Vulcanite stems show oxidation consistent with age and previous use. Nothing appears unusual for estate pipes of this age, and a proper stem cleaning and polishing/detailing should improve their appearance.
These pipes are being offered as estate pipes and are not represented as professionally restored.
