While these books are beautiful and unread and have sat on the shelf of a very old house never read but collected for their beauty …. They developed foxing and some white mold. Both with patience and dedication can be cleaned up to make them even more presentable. You will find them as firm and glorious and the day the arrived in the mail , they crack like a brand new book should when opened. Almost every single one has the sticker unused and the collectors notes in the first page. If cleaned up and put in a house with a better temperature controlled climate these could do absolutely wonderful but the old house I pulled them from wasn’t modern so the books show the age of that with brown spot foxing. If displayed spine forward you see nothing but beauty, even the pages when the gold is showing show beauty with almost no clue of issue, but when you crack open the blank pages take a hit and if you bend the pages so the golf disappears the foxing becomes evident. I want to be honest as to what you’re buying, these books are never used just collected and if kept in the proper place with temp control would be certifiably mint but as I said it was an old house from the 1700’s and their library which was AMAZING ( two floors with ladders style ) unfortunately wasn’t proper for these beautiful babies, but as I said before this issue can be cleaned up.

I absolutely love Easton press and want to keep these so bad but I must sell them 😞 and it has nothing to do with the issues mentioned above I don’t even care above that it don’t bother me, I need my money back that I paid 😞
