🌸 Vintage Style Easter Ornament • Bunny in Blue Cabbage • Glitter Wood Keepsake • Retro Spring Decor
❤️ A sweet springtime keepsake inspired by classic mid century storybook illustration styles
Looking for an ornament that feels playful, nostalgic, and full of vintage charm? This retro style Easter ornament features an adorable bunny nestled inside a vibrant blue cabbage blossom, holding a simple white daisy. The soft pastel palette, rounded shapes, and gentle expression capture the warmth and innocence of classic mid century spring artwork.
❤️ Design Details
This ornament features a cream colored bunny tucked inside layered blue cabbage petals with hand applied glitter outlining the petal edges for sparkle and dimension. The bunny’s soft blush cheeks and tiny flower add a gentle, storybook feel. The bold blue cabbage paired with delicate highlights creates a charming contrast that stands out beautifully on an Easter tree or spring display.
🌷 Design Style Inspiration
Inspired by mid century spring and Easter illustration styles from the 1950s and 1960s, when bunnies, florals, and garden imagery were often illustrated with soft shading, sweet expressions, and cheerful color palettes meant to feel whimsical and timeless.
✨ How It’s Made
Each ornament is created with care and attention to detail. I design and prepare every piece in my studio, then cut the shape with precision before applying glitter by hand to highlight select details. The front is sealed for long lasting sparkle without shedding. A small integrated hanger hole is built directly into the design so it hangs cleanly and evenly. The back is engraved, lightly stained, and sealed for a polished, professional finish. Because each ornament is handmade, small variations in glitter placement and wood grain are part of what makes every piece unique.
