Early HEISEY Tobacco Humidor or 2 Quart Crushed Fruit Jar Colonial Clear Paneled
The body has sixteen flat facets rounded at their tops and bottom. These match the faceted lid, whose facets continue through the oversize “juicer” finial. This finial is 3” in diameter, and a person’s hands lay into the facets of the finial in a comfortable fashion. The body is 5-3/4” tall and with the lid is 9-1/2” tall. The upper diameter is 5-7/8” and the base is 6-5/8".
Bottom has lightly stamped "Patented July" and too faint to read "7, 1908" along with the Heisey stamp of an "H" in a diamond.
The condition is great. There are no chips or cracks. There are a couple of tiny bubbles, pour lines from and production marks. Normal for old glass.
