Early 20th century Vienna Secession style table lamp attributed to the Josef Hoffmann design school / Wiener Werkstätte movement. This piece features classic Secessionist architectural geometry including a stepped square base, vertical column form, and cantilever shade support structure.
The lamp retains strong design characteristics associated with early Austrian modernist decorative arts. The opal glass shade provides soft diffused lighting consistent with period design aesthetics.
******The lamp needs to be professionally rewired for safe modern use.
This is an excellent example of Vienna Secession design influence and works well in Art Nouveau, Secessionist, early modernist, or high-end eclectic interiors.
