Details: - Antique Early 19th Century land deed between Samuel Remington of Leicester, Vermont and Ebenezer N. Briggs of Salisbury, Vermont for a purchase of land, described in the agreement; dated January 20th, 1835.
Interesting to note that Ebenezer Briggs served as the Speaker of the Vermont House, as well as a President Pro Tem of the Vermont Senate; he was also the father-in-law and law partner of Vermont Governor Ebenezer J. Ormsbee.
Measurements: - Including the frame, the piece measures 10\" wide and 13\" tall.
The document itself is about 7 1/2\" by 12\"
Condition: - The document does have a small tear, as well as creasing.
It is glued to the backing.
