Early 1900’s Boston School Cadets Drum Corps 1st Regiment Cabinet Photo Framed
This photo was discovered in an attic on Long Island.
The photo features 30 + members of the Boston School Cadets Drum Corps 1st Regiment. The boys look to be all young teenagers. I’m sure that many of them were either drafted or volunteered for service during WW1.
The picture has wear from how it was stored from water staining to small scuffs to foxing over time. The picture is in what I believe is its original frame, but is missing the front glass. Since the photo has a cut design matting, I didn’t locate who the photographer was of this photo which is usually on the bottom right or back.
It measures about 22.5x18.5 inches with the frame and about 16x20 inches including the matting without the frame.
This is a great early picture whether you collect military, music group scenes or Boston history!
