Vintage Enesco Imports Japan Winking Lady Head VaseCharming vintage mid-century ceramic lady head vase featuring a blonde young woman with a playful winking expression, bright red lips and rosy cheeks. She wears a pale pink collar accented with a black bow and a wonderful powder-blue hat decorated with dimensional pink and white roses, green leaves and a graphic black-and-white lattice ribbon.The original blue ENESCO IMPORTS JAPAN foil label remains attached to the underside.This is an especially fun example of the classic Japanese lady head vases that became popular as florist pieces during the mid-20th century. Her winking expression and elaborate dimensional hat give her wonderful personality and make her an eye-catching addition to a vintage head-vase collection.Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related wear. There is visible paint loss/wear, particularly to portions of the green leaves on the hat, along with light surface wear/soiling and age-related crazing. Please review all photographs closely, as they are an important part of the condition description.There is something wonderfully cheerful about these old florist head vases—the expressive faces and elaborate hats gave an ordinary bouquet a personality all its own.
