Ms. Kitt's lengthy (but the opposite of too long) and ceremonial entrance in the 1978 Broadway musical Timbuktu, as choreographed, directed and costumed by the brilliant Geoffrey Holder, concluded with her in a regal pose pronouncing "III"MMM AN HEEEERE." You can find it online. The also brilliant photographer Kenn Duncan captured it in a still. This postcard is a little tribute to three incredible and very missed super talents. My scanner is just not capable of capturing all of the full brilliance.
