EAPG FOOTED SPOONER Spoon Holder Vase ~ HOBNAIL and FEATHER Pattern ~ Lovely EXC:
$27.30

Thiswildcrocus listing offers a beautiful antique FOOTED EAPG SPOONER a.k.a. Spoon Holder Vase, a lovely example of Early American Pressed Glass. The hobnail and feather pattern is very crisp, with nicely textured feathering...a distinctive piece with the contrasting hobnails and feathers and the slightly scalloped foot/base. There are four faint seams indicating pressed in a four-part mold. This is a well balanced piece of EAPG with everything as it should be, to our estimation. The vase sends a nice ringing sound when tapped with a spoon. Whether spoons or flowers, this vase displays them grandly.

The FINDS of wildcrocus are previously owned,

presently appreciated and delighted in

BRIEF HISTORY

1996-2006 ~ we actively sold antiques on and in antique malls.

2006-2021 ~ we built and operated a bed and breakfast,

antiques shop and espresso bar in the central Black Hills;

and remain grateful for those 15 wonderful years

we were blessed to enjoy, meeting and serving the public.

2021-2023 ~ we sold our much-loved business to again build

a new downsized version without the storefront,

but in the same delightful area which draws vacationers

and where we ourselves find refreshment in the wilderness.

2023 to present ~ here we go again...

contented in meeting and serving the public

by way of our new bed and breakfast,

and have resumed selling antiques on .

We sell antiques and collectibles because we truly enjoy them

and we enjoy making them available to others who enjoy them!

Dealing in antiques is a pleasurable source of income.

And antiques are, in modern terms, a renewable resource . . .

always a reflection of days-gone-by,

while often being forwarded through years

to be engaged in an imaginative re-purpose.

From the mountains to the prairies . . .

Thank you for looking at our discovered \'äbjekts.
