Classic Marvel horror
This four-issue limited series presents a darker, horror-focused reimagining of the Man-Thing mythos. The story begins with biochemist Ted Sallis attempting to recreate the super-soldier serum, eventually leading to his transformation into the monstrous Man-Thing.
As the series continues, the story introduces Jennifer Kale, Andrew Kale, Ellen Brandt, and Digger while expanding the strange and dangerous mythology surrounding the Citrusville swamps.
Issue #1 begins the story with “The Cool Dark: Part 1 of 4.” Issue #2 continues with “The Dark Lady,” while #3 introduces another dangerous swamp monster. Issue #4 concludes the series with Ellen Brandt returning to Citrusville with a team of mercenaries determined to kill Man-Thing.
A great addition for Man-Thing fans, Marvel MAX collectors, horror comic enthusiasts, Marvel Comics collectors, and fans of darker Modern Age superhero stories.
