This is a very good miniature specimen of a classic occurrence. Chrysocolla forms in vugs in matrix and is later covered by a coating of sparkling, druzy quartz. This is a specimen that features a vuggy matrix with sparkling drusy quartz crystals on the chrysocolla. Beautiful colors.
The specimen comes from old stock (1988), Charles Trantham estate.
