Condition

Here are some general condition notes for this set of comics:

• There might be a few small tears around the edges in the margins (larger tears are mentioned below).
• These comics are old and tanned, but can be handled with ease. Some dates, and/or edges, might be more tanned than others.
  • In general, a good portion of this set looks pretty good, but some are definitely more tanned.
• Condition notes are predominately focused on the comics on the front side (comic featured for the sale).
• The color register is sometimes off at least a bit, but the printing generally pretty really good with these comics (nice color).
  • Examine the photos to see how the comics look. These still look great despite our attention to detail on taking notes. In general, we rate the color register issues in the following (with increasing severity). This is just a quick assessment as we go through the set.
    • Color register off a tiny bit - 12 dates

• Some dates have some ink transfer, and provided notes on the individual date condition notes.
  • Ink bleed-through, or visibility of some printing from the reverse side is more common. We did not take additional specific notes on this condition (see photos).
  • Ink Transfer is most common along the centerfold line on this set, but it is not normally too bad (see photos). In this case it bounced between being through Don Winslow or Bos\'n Hall on different dates.

We also made some notes of some date specific issues (we tried to avoid making too many notes, and instead preferred to go the generalized condition notes above). This should serve as a guide to the condition of the set, it is possible that we have not caught everything:

The top right corner of the page is creased a little bit in the margin as well. 6-19 A little light to moderate ink transfer along the centerfold line, mostly in a few isolated spots within Don Winslow. There is also a little light ink transfer along the side of Bos\'n Hall.
