Crosley Model 51 Vintage Tube Radio Black Panel Tuning Dial Selector Switches For Sale

This is a Crosley Model 51 regenerative receiver (two-tube battery set) from 1924, manufactured by The Crosley Radio Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio. It is in quite good condition. All original hardware both tubes no equipment missing or broken from the unit, glass jar battery not included. It is clearly identified by the front-panel marking “CROSLEY 51,” the original paper label inside the lid describing it as a “Regenerative Receiver CROSLEY Model 51,” and the serial number 60317 E. The label also notes the Armstrong regenerative patent (U.S. Patent No. 1,113,149 of October 6, 1914) and states it was intended for radio amateurs, experimenters, and scientific/university stations. The set matches the classic “casket” (box-with-lid) style of the period.
