Works great. There is a chip on the inside lip of the glass, which is not seen when the glass is on the lamp. The base of the lamp is styled like metal, but is actually some dense kind of plastic. There is a crack in this plastic near the cord insert (see photos) but this is not easily seen and doesn\'t appear to be affecting the structural integrity of the lamp.
