Collectible Carved Articulated Dog On Wood Cigarette Box For Sale

Collectible hand carved wood dog on top of cigarette case from the early 1900\'s.Carving is extremely detailed and well executed.Color and finish appear original. Some ghosting to old varnish.Glass Eyes are still bright.Box shows wear/rub from opening/closing below dog\'s chin.Box is tongue and groove construction in pine wood.Box finish appears in original untouched condition.Box lid opens easily and dog views over the lid when opened.Inside of box has a patina one would expect with age.Minor use wear on top of lid edges and box front top edge.I have found no verifiable info linking this type of box to ANRI.
