Cochiti Pueblo Storyteller Grandfather w/4Children Signed Dorothy Trujillo 6 x 7 For Sale

Dorothy Trujillo, 1932-1999, was a Cochiti Pueblo potter that was particularly well known for her storyteller \"dolls\" of Cochiti clay and fired in the traditional manner. This charming one is a grandfather with 4 grandchildren. Dorothy was Water Clan and I think, but am not sure, that one of the figures on the side may be a Water Clan symbol. She was born on Jemez Pueblo but married into Cochiti and quickly learned the Cochiti style of pottery. This piece is in excellent condition and is bigger, 7\" tall and 6\" wide at the feet, than many of these storytellers.
