This onewas made on October 1969 and it’s in Super Clean conditions. Very little woodworks was done and only a small ding on the bottom of the housing. We appliedwood glue internally along the critical joints. Movement, music box and allmetals were sonically cleaned then oiled. The 1 day Regula movement had abushing installed previously but only 1 at the Time side 2nd wheel. Beena pre 1970 the dancers platform has metal gears not plastic, a favorite amongcollectors. Mostly original parts except for a new set of bellow tops and clockhands. This one has the antique wooden type Cuckoo bird, we repainted it. Thefigurine are fine, only the man hat had a small piece missing so we added thatand repainted. Music box plays “Rosen sus dam Suden” (Roses from the South)melody at the top of every hour after the coo-coo sound as the dancers goesaround. After reassembly we test-run it for 4 days. . Measures appx. 12 incheshigh by 9 inches across and about 6 inches deep. Comes with a NumericalCertificate and with easy pictured set-up instructions and a 3page articleabout Cuckoo clocks origins.
