How often do you see The Advance in the Market Place?This Hard-to-Find collectible features 32-pages of content published by the Students of Salem Classical High School and includes editorials, stories, poetry and more. It\'s quite a nifty item for either someone who knew a family member or friend who attended or a collector of items from the High School.
The Booklet, which measures approx. 7\" x 10 1/2\", is in about Good to Very Good condition. The cover, which has a good rich red text, and all pages, which are cream-colored, are firmly attached. The front and back cover corners have wear and rounding; the front cover has what appears to be foxing through its\' area, the top right-hand corner has approx. 1 1/2\" outer- and 1/2\" inner-creases- which extend into several internal pages, the spine has a few stress creases - the biggest approx. 1/4\" near the Lantern, the bottom right-hand corner has an approx. 3/4\" bend that extends through the Booklet and an approx. 1/4\" crease; the first page has a blemish at the bottom right-hand side; the staples at the binding and centerfold are rusty; pages #23 - #32 have a lengthy bend (approx. 5 1/2\") and crease (approx. 1 3/4\") at the top outer corner and pages #25-#26 have an approx. 1/8\" x 1/2\" piece missingat their top outer corner; the back cover has what appears to be foxing at the top left-hand corner and spine, the creases/bends mentioned earlier start here, there is an approx. 1\" tear at the top left-hand side, the bottom left-hand corner has an approx. 1/2\" crease.
