The cloisonné work is of remarkable quality, showcasing fine wirework and consistent enamel firing. This is a 4-piece set, wagon mounts on the ox and can be freely rolled. The top of the wagon is removable exposing an interior compartment. A string was added aftermarket to tether the cart to the ox. There are scattered spots of verdigris on the feel, the back side of the wheels and larger areas inside the lid. This statement piece is a vibrant example of traditional Chinese craftsmanship, perfect for a mantel, foyer, or dedicated Asian art collection.
