Care Bears Comic Book Lot #1, 2 & 4 Vintage 1985. Read Used Condition. For Sale

Lot of three original Star Comics / Marvel Care Bears issues: #1 (Nov 1985, first issue), #2 (Jan 1986, Green-Eyed Monster), and #4 (May 1986, Scare Bear special).

All are complete used reader copies with typical 1980s wear—spine ticks, light creases, and edge rub. No missing pages.

These are forty-year-old kids’ comics that were actually read and stored like kids’ comics. They are not high-grade, bagged-and-boarded collector copies. You will see corner wear and rounding, some color rub and stress on the spines, light creasing and surface wear on the covers (there is a noticeable crease or mark across the title on #2), and one back cover with a peeled or chipped top corner. Page edges show modest yellowing. Staples are intact, but I am not claiming they are perfectly aligned or rust-free. I do not see major tears, cover writing, or missing pages.

It is not CGC material and it is not “like new.”

I photographed the fronts, close-ups, the stack, and several backs so you can see exactly what you are buying. If a slightly crooked staple or a small crease on an interior page would bother you, this set is not for you. Buy it as a complete vintage run in honest used condition. Sold as a lot of six.
