I guess if you are looking at this, you’re familiar with Stan Shaw, Master Cutler and one of the greatest knife makers of the 20thCentury either side of the Atlantic. This is a four blade, Mother of Pearl scaled pocket knife in near mint condition – with the exception of a regrettable crack to the obverse scale, hence the pricing.
Measures approximately 2 3/8 inches long overall, closed. Master clip blade measures approximately 1 ½ inches long, edge only. Obverse tang stamped “S. Shaw Sheffield England”. Reverse tang stamped “Stainless Steel”. Secondary blade measures approximately 1 3/8 inches long, edge only. Obverse tang stamped “S. Shaw Sheffield England”. Reverse tang stamped “Stainless Steel”. To the underside are a pair of scissors and a nail file with pick, obverse tang stamped “S. Shaw Sheffield England”. Deep luster premium Mother of Pearl scales secured by three pins. Gadrooned brass liners and spacer. Provided in a microfiber drawstring pouch.
Strong snap to all blades. A crack running down the center of the obverse scale. Otherwise, this is mint.
