Unused, never-carried collector example in near-mint vintage condition. All three blades are completely full, razor sharp, and retain their original factory geometry with no evidence of sharpening. Strong opening and closing snap, excellent walk and talk, and no wobble on any blade. Rough Black handles are solid with exceptionally deep original jigging and no chips or cracks observed. Light age-related carbon spotting and storage marks are visible on the blades in the close-up photographs; this is why the knife is graded near mint rather than pristine mint.Offered is an outstanding Case XX 6333 Rough Black Small Stockman produced during the 1940–1964 Case XX era. Likely 1940-49. Measuring approximately 2 5/8 inches closed, this compact three-blade Stockman carries full carbon-steel clip, sheepfoot, and pen blades. The long-pull master blade is deeply and clearly stamped CASE XX, with the 6333 pattern number stamped on the reverse tang.This knife appears unused and never carried. All three blades remain completely full with their original factory profiles and razor-sharp edges intact. There is no evidence of sharpening or blade loss. Every blade has strong opening and closing snap, crisp and precise walk and talk, and absolutely no wobble.The original Rough Black composition handles are exceptional. They retain their deep black coloration, high gloss, and unusually bold, deeply cut jigging from bolster to bolster. Both handles remain solid, with no chips or cracks observed. The original oval CASE shield is full, crisp, and correctly seated.Scattered light carbon spotting and minor age-related storage marks are visible on portions of the blades and are clearly shown in the close-up photographs. These are cosmetic signs of age rather than use. Because of that spotting, the knife is conservatively described as unused near mint rather than pristine mint.Finding an XX-era Rough Black 6333 with all three blades this full, untouched, and mechanically strong is exceptionally difficult.
