CASE V-42 STILETTO IN HONOR OF THE CANADIANS OF THE FIRST SPECIAL SERVICE FORCE For Sale

Offered here is a Case V-42 Commemorative Stiletto in excellent condition, unused, only displayed. Its blackened chromium vanadium steel stiletto-type blade measures 7 1/4 inches, double hollow ground to produce the distinctive center line along its length, retains its original sharp edges, and has the famed “thumb print” on the ricasso. Its handle measures 5 inches, has a platinum plated cross guard with leather tab, serrated leather for the grip area, and a platinum plated skull-cracking pommel (some surface blemish). This Limited Edition is officially authorized by the First Special Sevice Force Association, with a low serial number 0036 (etched on spine) of 1500 worldwide. Issued by the American Historical Foundation, Richmond, Virginia, USA. Comes with its Certificate of Authenticity and velvet-lined walnut display box.

The original Case manufactured V-42 stilettos were issued to troops of the joint US-Canadian First Special Service Force, popularly known as the “Devil’s Brigade” that served with honor during WW II.
