Inscribed camp photo. One print shows a row of numbered canvas tents on open rolling prairie. The back is captioned by hand: \"A concrete camp, 2 miles from Tangier, Okla, of the C.H. Sharp Contracting Co.\" The writer explains that Tent 1 is the office, Tent 2 is the kitchen and dining tent, and Tents 3, 4 and 5 are for sleeping. It ends with \"Tent no 1 is my home,\" signed with an initial. The writer seems to have been the camp\'s office man or clerk. Tangier is in Woodward County, Oklahoma, on the Santa Fe line. Charles H. Sharp was a railroad contractor of some prominence based in Kansas City, and his firm worked on building the Santa Fe Railway System through Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, and California.
