The Clear-Bauer Company was a prominent early 20th-century drayage (delivery) and ice supply business based in Lansing, Michigan. Operating in the pre-automotive era, the firm used horse-drawn freight wagons to transport heavy goods, haul local lumber, and supply harvested river ice for residential and commercial refrigeration.
