This vintage postcard shows the interior of the Gothic Hall (La Salle gothique) in the Brussels Town Hall (Hôtel de Ville), Belgium. The hall is ornately decorated with banners and tapestries depicting various trades, designed by G. Geefs. The caption notes the hall was rebuilt around 1868 and was used for official meetings and ceremonies. Published by Desaix of Brussels, this is a Divided Back era card.
