Free shipping is not free to the seller. The post office does charge for shipping. Free shipping does not include tracking. It costs me at least $8.50 to ship a small item with tracking. In order to provide free shipping it is necessary to lower the cost as much as possible. That is why there is no tracking on small value items. I find it unreasonable for example to sell a small inexpensive item for $2.79 and then charge $8.50 to ship it.
Tracking is only available for International shipment if the item is sent Registered or Express Mail. International buyers assume all risk of loss or damage by the post office.
