Here is an off-whiteHand-Decorated, Personalized Mug, by BobMcFarren in Corona del Mar, California. He used a WALLACERestaurant Ware Mug. The mug is personalized for (SOLO) "JOHNNIE", who must have been a Pilot based on the Downed Planedepicted. The plane is yellow and there is a gal in the field where he landed!! I did some research and I believe that this might be Canadian Johnny Colton, who landed his yellow plane in a farmer's field where the young daughter was, he later married her!! Check out the pics to see if you also think it could be him. Otherwise, it is another Johnnie who flew yellow planes solo and crashed one onto a beach with cliffs where there was a cute lady sunbathing!! The other side of the mug features a Blue Cloud, which in my limited experience with this sort of mug I have only seen on military mugs that feature airborne activities. The number 205 (it is smeared but I believe this is the number)is in the lower right of this graphic, don't know if this was the art number or somehow associated with Johnnie, perhaps his unit number? The handle has been painted gold. This mug is in great condition, with no chips or cracks that I could find, only the smeared number. The mug is sturdy and weighs over 1 pound before being packed.Please let me know if you need additional pictures.
